Wave Package Overviews

SurfStream: One machine. Multiple waves.

SurfStream is the world’s first true standing wave surf machine—and the world’s most versatile platform for water sports.

Unlike sheet-flow simulators, SurfStream produces a deep cushion of water that can be carved using real surfboards, fins and all. As a result, the skills acquired riding SurfStream waves translate perfectly to oceans and rivers.

From small breaks to big waves, SurfStream delivers the only fully adjustable, gravity-driven wave, making it safe enough for novices and challenging enough for competitions. The modular fiberglass design supports left breaks, right breaks, even full-blown barrels, either as a standalone attraction or integrated into lazy rivers and other large-scale designs.

The key to SurfStream is a unique arrangement of foils with secondary drain paths, triggering stable hydraulic jumps, just like the one found in natural standing waves. The difference is that SurfStream produces standing waves at a higher Froude number than usually occurs in nature, providing the efficiency to create large, authentic surf in a cost-effective footprint.

PerfectSwell: The Whole Wave. Spectacular surf.

Conventional wave and surf pool technology hasn’t changed much in 30 years—until now. PerfectSwell is the first pneumatic wave generator to replicate the circular motions that occur within wind-generated ocean swells.

This patent-pending design can be integrated into new or existing surf pools, reducing rip currents and energy buildup, and generating breaking waves with the same profile advance as ocean surf.

A relatively simple change to existing systems allows for the creation of circular particle motion waves, with or without vacuum assistance. As a result, it’s now possible to make surfing a staple at resorts and water parks anywhere in the world.

Wave heights and angles can be continuously adjusted in either phased or sequenced applications, providing an experience as varied and exciting as the real thing—at no more cost than conventional equipment.
